Chippie Staff get new Uniform

BASSETERRE; ST.KITTS - The staff at the Chippie office recently received new uniforms which they wore for the first time Friday May 23 during the visit of the Supervisory Board of United Telecommunication Service UTS, one of the parent companies for CHIPPIE.
Since the company had opened its doors two years ago they had gone through several different colours of clothing as part of the uniform. However, General Manager for the company in St. Kitts and Nevis Alfred Harley said on Friday that he felt it was time to upgrade the look for the staff.
He said the upgrade of the staff includes also some commercial training which is currently ongoing for several members of the Chippie Staff on St. Kitts and in Nevis. According to Harley, UTS’ Human Resources Department placed high emphasis on the education of their staff regarding the daily operations of the company and especially the commercial aspect which includes customer care. ~~Adz:Right~~
Harley said the staff will start wearing their new uniforms as of Monday and said this new look will make it even easier for the customers to identify the members of staff once they enter the building or even when they are spotted on the street.
Harley said, “We at Chippie feel it is very important to continue to educate our customers about the services we offer, and to provide them with answers to their questions. I think that when someone is able to identify a member of staff, it is a sign of prestige for that staffer and helps with the image of the company.”
He said entire staff at Chippie are here to serve the community and said that this service will only get better as time progresses.
