KINGSTOWN St.Vincent, February 16th, 2012  -- Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said 41.4 million US dollars have been estimated in an actuary report, for the recapitalization of the British American Insurance Company as of June 2012. Dr. Gonsalves said the report was based on the valuation of insurance liabilities for policies of the company.

He said in addition to contributions made by the currency union governments from the liquidity support fund, the Judicial Manager of the Insurance Company has also indicated that funds would be made available to meet part of the cost for recapitalization.
