Body found in Nevis; police investigating

By: Terresa McCall, SKNVibes.com

BASETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Nevis Branch of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is currently making investigations into the find of a lifeless body on that island.

Sometime after 1:00 this afternoon (Feb. 22), SKNVibes received information suggesting that a body was found in Bath Village within the vicinity of Forty Charles.

This media house conducted initial investigations into the claim and Press and Public Relations Officer SGT Stephen Hector confirmed that a body was found but noted he had little information about the circumstances.

He indicated however, that from all indications it is the body of a male. He said he did not know if the body bore signs of foul play or was he able to state whether the deceased was a local or foreigner.

The SGT told this publication that investigations are being made; however, this media house caught wind of unsubstantiated claims which suggest that the body bears signs of foul play which includes a gunshot wound to the head.

Other unconfirmed reports indicate that the deceased is a male national of St. Kitts and Nevis.

More on this find would be presented in a subsequent publication when information is made available by the police.
