BASSETERRE St. Kitts, February 23rd 2012 - A radiant smile and extremely contagious personality are two qualities that suitably describe 14 year old Rosy Skelton. These qualities are most distinct as she interacts with her peers at school and her family members at home.
Dominican by birth and proudly resides on the island where she was first enrolled at the Basseterre High school, in the Learning Support Department, to develop her skills in English. Through hard work and determination she has successfully been promoted to the main stream to pursue twelve subjects.
Her dream career is to become a lawyer and represent both the English and Spanish speaking community. In her spare time she enjoys hairdressing, dancing and the performing arts.
Rosy has very strong views about self –motivation and self-esteem and intends to share these views during her period of interaction with her fellow contestants in this year’s pageant.
Her motto and words of wisdom to other young ladies: “Believe and have confidence in yourself to achieve your goals.”
