Dr. the Hon Timothy Harris, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, has lead the Federation’s delegation to the 30th Regular Session of the Organisation of American States (OAS) being held in Medellin, Columbia from June 1-3, 2008.
The OAS General Assembly is being preceded by several other events organised by the Hemispheric Private Sector, Civil Society and Labour Groups.
Dr. Harris is accompanied by Ambassador Izben Williams and Ms Gail Gilbert of the St. Kitts-Nevis Permanent Mission to the OAS. The theme for the Assembly is “Youth and Democratic Values”.
While in Columbia, Dr. Harris will engage in bilateral discussions with several of his counterparts from member states of the OAS and Permanent Observer representatives to the OAS. ~~Adz:Right~~
