Nevis Police alert laptops owners and potential buyers

~~Adz:Right~~CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - POLICE in Nevis are appealing to laptop owners to be alert as this type of computer has become a major attraction to criminals.
Inspector Hilroy Brandy, Head of Criminal Investigation Department, Nevis, told SKNVibes that medical students who own laptops have been targeted by criminals lately.
He also said that persons who are approached by individuals to purchase laptops should notify the Police before they commit themselves to the purchases.
Brandy called on members of the public to partner with the Police to combat crime.
“Crime has not reached alarming levels in Nevis but it is still not under control,” Brandy said. He said home owners should secure their homes and “people must pay more attention to security”.
Police on Nevis are currently investigating the reported loss of several laptops.
