Sponsors join the Black San’ bandwagon!

SPIRIT Press Release

    Let the countdown begin!!

SANDY POINT, St. Kitts and Nevis (March 7, 2012): The nation’s premiere cultural experience has returned with resounding support from the private sector, as the countdown to the Sandy Point festival is set in motion.

This year’s Black San’ Bang-a-Lang calendar starts as early as March 25, and apart from a line-up of new events and venues, this year’s staging comes in with great support from major corporations and smaller community businesses. Joining RAM’s Trading Ltd. in the top tier of sponsors are telecommunications heavyweight, LIME; national trading giant, TDC Ltd.; and Carib Brewery (SKN) Ltd., another long-standing investor in community development. The sensational Googal Arts and regionally-renowned entertainment producer Tru-Capo have returned with much excitement, sponsoring new events.

New to the family of Black San’ sponsors are local go-to business for all things travel and leisure, Kantours Travel, and Sandy Point’s very own LOC Off Records, an emerging force on the local music scene.

To SPIRIT PRO Che-Raina Warner, this outpouring of support is a clear sign that the festival has earned the confidence of businesses to be an agent of community development and a symbol of togetherness.

‘’SPIRIT is appreciative of the level of support, financial and otherwise, we’ve received so far for this year’s festival. We have put forward a plan of never-before-tried events at new and creative venues and have stressed our agenda to encourage family and community togetherness. And so far, we have received nothing but strong support as businesses recognize Black San’ as an effective means of giving back to communities’’ Warner said.

Meanwhile, registration for all events is now open!
