Hispanic woman remanded for passport fraud

By: Stanford Conway, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A female national of the Dominican Republic was recently remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison for fraudulently declaring herself the legal holder of a St. Kitts and Nevis passport.

A release from the Police Press and Public Relations Officer, Sergeant Stephen Hector, states that Aracelis Gonzalez of Mad House Alley, Newtown was arrested on a warrant in the first instance for offences of fraud.

“Investigations reveal that Gonzalez fraudulently by impersonation and false representation held herself out as the holder and right possessor of a St. Christopher and Nevis Passport,” Hector said.

He noted that the offence was committed on March 23, 2008 and that Gonzalez had appeared before the court, was not granted bail and is currently on remand.
