    Police Officer charged for indecently assaulting a minor

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - ANOTHER junior member of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has found himself on the wrong side of the law and was charged for indecently assaulting a female juvenile.

     

    Police Constable Junior Gordon is accused of inappropriately touching a female, who is a minor, on Saturday, March 22, 2008.

     

    According to information reaching SKNVibes, he was arrested on Monday and has since been granted bail. Additional information stated that he was suspended from active duty pending the determination of the charge.

     

    It is understood that if convicted, Gordon will be dismissed and if acquitted, he will be reinstated.

     

    Gordon has been a member of the national law enforcement agency for approximately three years. He is from Jamaica and is said to be residing in Molyneaux.

    Meanwhile, a number of other individuals were arrested and charged with offences in which they are believed to have been involved.

     

    Nigerian native Babatinde Damilola Alonge was arrested and charged for obtaining credit by fraud; an offence which Police claim was committed on Monday, June 9, 2008.

     

    A Lower Monkey Hill juvenile was arrested and charged with a Tuesday, June 10, 2008 offence of wounding while Frigate Bay resident Jason Carloni was arrested and charged for driving when not covered by insurance. According to Police, Carloni committed the offence on Tuesday, June 10, 2008.
