U.S. Embassy to Host Facebook Chat on Visa Issues

Press Release

BASSETERRE St. Kitts, March 21st, 2012  --  The United States Embassy is continuing to use social media to reach out to residents in the seven countries of the Eastern Caribbean.

With the busy summer travel season approaching, Eastern Caribbean residents will be able to get real-time answers to their questions about the visa process on Thursday, March 22, when the Embassy hosts a chat on its Facebook page (www.facebook.com/USEmbassyBarbados).

The discussion will run from 3 pm until 4 pm during which time a consular officer will answer questions on the visa application process.

Residents should sign up as fans of the Embassy’s Facebook page if they wish to participate. A note indicating where the chat will take place will be created ahead of time so people can leave their questions in advance.
