Youth Outreach Dance Ministry Easter Camp Press Release

Press Release

BASSETERRE St. Kitts, April 3rd 2012 - After 10 years in the dance Industry, the Youth Outreach Dance Ministry / School of Dance is providing the community with an Easter camp program for children between ages 6-15 years, as a means of impacting and empowering our youths for Christ.  The camp is scheduled to take place from Tuesday 10th – Friday 20th April at the St Johnston Community Centre starting 9:00am – 4:00pm.

The program will be a life-changing opportunity to reach youths for Christ in a local and global context.

Since its inception in 2001, the Ministry has been raising a successful generation through the fine arts, and now, we are happy to reach this milestone, said Ms. Andrea Caines, Director and choreographer of this Ministry.  Ms. Caines has been a strong believer in the faith for 12 years now, and enjoyed working with children of different background, races, & culture.

The purpose of the camp is to support and empower young people in order to reach their full potential in the fine arts spiritually, mentally, socially and physically.

We have a wide range of activities for the children to keep them quite busy on the 2-week program, said Ms. Caines. They would be fitted into an environment which creates an enjoyable, satisfying and rewarding spiritual experience.  At this camp, your child will be trained in a safe Christ-centred discipline making Ministry.

Our theme is “A Time to Rejoice.”  At the end of the camp, the Ministry will host an Easter program, where parents will be given the opportunity to witness the talents and skills of their campers.  This event will take place on Saturday 21st April at the Zion Moravion Church, Victoria Road starting 6:00pm sharp.  It is free of cost, but a love offering will be collected to defray some of the expenses.

If you are interested, please feel free to contact Ms. Caines at 668-7371.  Space is limited!!!
