Mad Squad Promoter ready for ‘Bruk It Dung Dance Hall Queen Competition’

SKNVibes

BASETERRE, St. Kitts – IT is only a few days away from the most talked about event of the year in sweet SKB scheduled to be held at the Gspot Nightclub in Sandy Point.

It is the ‘Bruk It Dung Dance Hall Queen Competition’ with dress code tank tops and coloured tights featuring a night of talent energy skills and stamina on Saturday April 7.

As the anticipation heats up, everyone is wondering which girl is going to walk away as the Mad Squad Dancehall Queen 2012, the trophy and cash prize.

The event promoter Dwayne ‘DJ Flames’ Ferguson said this would be an event no one wants to miss. He noted that the Small Axe Band would release their ‘Bruk It Dung’ soca remix and their Banana song that has been played in every corner of SKB.

“This would be DJ Yardy ‘Di World Boss’ second appearance in the Gspot. The remix king has also done a mad remix to ‘Brunk It Dung’.  Sandy Point will have all the hype this weekend as the ‘Country Machine’ DJ Shaggy, the new collaboration of Unstoppable and Chalice Sound as one along with Mixklusiv Sound that has been super busy mashing up the place and the newly form Mad Squad Sound with myself and Dads, the two Jamaicans, as we create crazy energy with our club slang ‘quick quick quick less than 3" and Fada Chris will make his debut with the Mad Squad Sound as a selector.”

Mad Squad Promotions is still in its infancy stage, with just about nine months in the promoting business. Ferguson however is not new to the promotions arena, as one of his favorite sayings states, "Music is life and music bring people together in harmony."

“I see promotions as a art and skill because you have to find ways to make people want to come to your events and when they come you want them get the vibes and feel the energy and get their monies worth. Promotion is hard work and takes money but the joy I get is to see all the hard work pay off and to see people come out to support the events and enjoying themselves to the max,” the DJ explained.

The young promoter added that this is just the beginning of more hyper things to come from Mad Squad Promotions and Sound. He also gave his appreciation to everyone who has been supporting him thus far.
