He noted how thrilled he was to honour his staff who through hard work, perseverance, teamwork and dedication, earned them the coveted four-diamond award for the seventh consecutive year.
He said, “It is very important to understand that this is not a celebration for an award that we won, but it’s an award that we earned every year. The criteria every year is more challenging as the number of hotels and the quality of property increased dramatically. This causes the bar to be raised for us to continually improve our standards and challenges to the highest level possible.”
The ceremony which was held on the picturesque lawns of the hotel, not only saw the keynote speaker, Ms Jeanette Grell-Hull imparting a number of tips for improvement but the staff being honoured for their hard work and dedication during the year 2003.

She said, “All of you are different and you come from different homes, and in some cases there is a difference in culture, but you were able to hang in there and work together for the benefit of all.”
In observing that they had won the four-diamond award seven times, Ms Grell-Hull wondered if any one had figured out how it was accomplished, and responded, “It took you time to get the job done, you had to reach high, you had to be persistent, committed and positive and you had to believe in yourself and your employee.”
Ms Grell-Hull who has being a travel agent for over 25 years, pointed out five areas that can motivate an employee in the continual process of being positive and productive in every thing they do. She noted their time, get the job done, reach high, persistence and commitment.
