BASSETERRE- St. Kitts – MASINDA NISBETT of Nevis on Sunday night (Apr. 8) walked away with the crown and title of the 2012 LIME Miss Black San Swimsuit after winning four of the six judged segments and amassing 1,113.5 points.
Nisbett took the Carib Brewery Black & Yellow, Cane Juice, Creative Wear and Body Paint segments, much to audience’s approval.
Another Nevisian, Sidamo Jones, who is the reigning Miss Culture Swimwear, was adjudged First Runner-up with 1,109.5 points.
Jones took that spot while capturing the Interview and Vintage Wear segments.
The Second Runner-up position went to first timer to competitions Anita Sullivan who scored 1,073 points.
Nisbett, a former Miss Culturama Queen and National Carnival Queen Runner-up, has won the opportunity along with other prizes to compete in the Annual Miss Venus Swimsuit Anguilla Pageant to be held in June this year.
The other two contestants were seasoned competitors Shenelle Isaac and Jascur Hobson.
The show was affected by rain for almost an hour, which caused a major delay and forced the event to end close to 3:00 a.m. yesterday.
The house band for the night was the Limitless Band featuring Masud Sadiki, while other entertainment and side acts included Mixclusive Sounds, Nickail and Ali Dee.
