St. Paul’s woman found dead in home

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A young woman was reportedly found dead in her St. Paul’s Village home yesterday morning (Apr. 9) but police have not suspected any foul play.

     

    Dead is Verna Conner of Willette’s Housing Project in St. Paul’s Village.

     

    According to information reaching this publication, family members of the 39-year-old woman had seen her the night before she went home, but sometime after 9:00 the following morning they visited the home and found her lying on her back motionless on the floor.

     

    The matter was reported to the police who visited the scene and the lawmen contacted the District Medical Officer, Dr. Akin Oduntan, who pronounced her dead at the scene.

     

    SKNVibes learnt that Conner was a patient of Dr. Oduntan and after confirmation of her death the body was removed by undertakers of the Eastern Benevolent Society Funeral Home.
