Local Police Officers To Receive Additional Training

    KINGSTOWN St.Vincent, April 11th,  2012 --  Local Police Officers can look forward to receiving additional training to better equip themselves to fight crime.

     

    Prime Minister and Minister of National Security Dr. Ralph Gonsalves spoke about the need for more training, at a signing ceremony of the Aerial Intercept Assistance Agreement with the United States last week.
    The agreement was signed by Prime Minister Gonsalves and Charge de Affairs of the US Embassy, Christopher Sandrolini.

     

    Dr. Gonsalves said all the institutions must be strengthened so that Law Enforcement Officials would be able to fight crime effectively.

     

    The Aerial Intercept Assistance Agreement will assist in the areas of Law Enforcement Professionalization, Rule of Law and Anti- Corruption, Strengthening Counternarcotics Control Capabilities and Money Laundering/ Financial Crimes.
