ST.JOHN'S Antigua, April 13th, 2012 -- The Antigua and Barbuda Nurses Association have announced the contestants for the first-ever Nurses Week Pageant.
The participants are: Emelda Peters, Tiffany DaSilva, Juliann Morgan, Carissa Otto, Dawn McClean and Dana Norte.
The Nurses will be engaging the audience in four main segments: Introduction, a Monologue in which they will be in uniform depicting a former or senior Nurse Leader, Talent and Evening Wear/Interview segment.
According to Vice President of the Association Nurse Karen Josiah, the contest is not slated as a “Beauty” pageant so the primary emphasis will be placed on the Monologue segment of the contest.
The theme for Nurses Week 2012 is “Nurses Advocating, Leading, Caring” and runs from May 6th to 12th 2012 at the Nurses Headquarters on Queen Elizabeth Highway.
