Digicel Bigger Better
Press Release (DIGICEL)

Guyana & Santo Domingo Nationals pay .79 cents to call home & WIN a FREE Trip on LIAT Airlines!

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, April 18th, 2012  -  At the start of 2012, Digicel vowed to always keep its customers at the heart of all its promotions. With the significant growth in the Guyana and Dominican Republic communities in St. Kitts and Nevis, the Bigger, Better Network has designed a special calling rate to these destinations.

From today, persons can call their friends and family in Guyana and Dominican Republic and pay only 79 cents per minute on nights and weekends. Now with the lowest rate in the Federation to these two destinations, mobile customers will realize huge savings when making a call to Guyana and Dominican Republic from their Digicel handset.

Digicel is not only making it more affordable for the Guyanese and Dom Rep Nationals to keep in touch with their loved ones back home, but is also rewarding two customers with a FREE trip home to Guyana and Santo Domingo.

Prepaid customers who make a call to Guyana or the Dominican Republic between now and 14th June, 2012, will qualify to win the trips compliments of Digicel and LIAT Airlines, with the grand draw taking place on Friday 15th June, 2012.

Digicel’s calling rates are billed per second with the off-peak time band being Mondays to Fridays from 8pm to 6am and weekends from mid-night Fridays to mid-night Sundays.

Two Digicel/LIAT trips will be rewarded, one to Guyana and the other to Santo Domingo. The winners of each must be at least 18 years of age and the holder of a valid passport at time of travel.

“The Guyanese and Dominican communities have over the years been some of our loyal customers so we have decided to give back to them in a way that we know they would appreciate,” expressed Sean Latty, Digicel St. Kitts and Nevis’ Country Manager.

“With the lowest rate right now in the market to Guyana and the Dominican Republic of 79 cents, we are making sure that customers who call these destinations are enjoying savings, while staying in touch with their friends and family,” he continued.

Digicel also recently re-introduced its Talk & Win Cash promotion, whereby four customers will win $500 each every Friday once they speak on a call for 3 minutes or more during the week. Postpaid customers who pay their Digicel bill in full and on time can be one in five to win a $100 bill write-off on their next bill.
