National Taiwan University of Arts group to perform in St. Kitts and Nevis

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, April 24th,  2012 (CUOPM) - A 14-member performance group from the National Taiwan University of Arts is to perform in the Federation.

     

    The Federation’s Minister of Culture, the Hon. Marcella Liburd and Taiwan’s Resident Ambassador, His Excellency Miguel Tsao will host the first performance this coming Sunday 26th April at 7 p.m.  at the ECCB Auditorium.

     

    The first performance is scheduled for 07:00 p.m. on Sunday April 29 evening at ECCB auditorium.

     

    The second performance is at 7:00 p.m. on Monday April 30 at Nevis Performing Arts Center.

     

    The performances will feature traditional and contemporary Taiwanese dances and music pieces.

     

    Arrangements for local performers to interact with the visiting group have also been made.

     

    Due to limited seating capacity of the two venues, invitation to the performances will be by invitation only.

     

    The group is part of a larger contingent performing in the United States. St. Kitts and Nevis is the only stop outside the U.S.
