BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A native of Jamaica was arrested and charged yesterday (Apr. 25) for falsification and possession of controlled drugs.

Information reaching this publication states that George Gohagan of Jamaica, who currently resides at Wigley Avenue, was charged for falsifying a permit which was placed in his passport by an immigration officer and also for possession of marijuana.

Gohagan was however granted pre-trial liberty yesterday afternoon to the tune of EC$3 000 with two sureties.

He is scheduled to appear at the District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court in Basseterre on Monday (Apr. 30) to answer to the two charges.
