    ROADTOWN Tortola BVI,  April 26th, 2012   –  Minister for Education and Culture Honorable Myron V. Walwyn said his prayers are with those persons who were involved in this morning’s vehicular accident along the Great Mountain road.

    Minister Walwyn visited Peebles Hospital this morning where he met with some of the family members of persons injured. Amongst those injured were students from various schools and public officers.

     

    The Education Minister said, “We value the life of all our residents and empathise with those involved and injured in this morning’s accident,” adding, “We are thankful there were no loss of lives.”

     

    Minister Walwyn said, “We wish them all the best as they receive the necessary medical treatment and pray for their quick recovery.”

     

    The Education Minister thanks the Fire and Rescue Services Department, medical personnel from the Peebles Hospital, and the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force and others who assisted with responding to the vehicular accident.
