Chief Technical Officer John Krupski told the media on Sunday afternoon that, "Company specialists report that all objectives of today's exercise have been met, which should result with increased reliability of the generating plant ahead of this year's upcoming hurricane season. We wish to express its gratitude to all consumers for their patience in regard to today’s 10-hour planned black out."

Krupski further stated, "restoration of electricity to the various feeders around the island commenced at 2:05pm and full restoration was achieved by 3:30pm. The Company regrets any inconvenience resulting from this interruption."
