MOLYNEAUX, St Kitts (CMC) - Medium-paced bowler Wilden Cornwall and off-spin bowler Omari Banks combined to bowl Leeward Islands to an emphatic 163-run triumph over Barbados on the fourth and final day of their seventh round match in the Carib Beer 2005 Cricket Series match yesterday.

Cornwall captured four wickets for 15 runs from 14 overs and Banks took four for 23 from 11.1 overs to help skittle out Barbados for 114 in their second innings, after they were set 278 to win.

The visitors astonishingly lost eight wickets for just 52 runs in less than two hours, after resuming from 34 for one.

At the start of the day's play, Barbados appeared to be in no trouble as they progressed to 62 for one before Carl Simon removed Dwayne Smith caught behind for 27.

When Cornwall was brought into the attack, he struck with his second ball, trapping Sherwin Campbell lbw for 28 to leave Barbados 66 for three. From there it went all downhill for the visitors.
