Man escapes shooting ambush in Keys Village

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – INVESTIGATIONS are being made into a shooting incident that took place last night in Keys Village.
This media house was reliably informed that sometime after 8:00 p.m., a masked individual opened fire on a male resident of Keys Village.
Police Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Cromwell Henry confirmed the shooting incident, which he declared occurred at “4 Mile”, Keys Village.
He informed that Leon Isaac, who resides at “4 Mile”, left his home at approximately 8:00 p.m. and was shortly after attacked by a masked assailant. The assailant was reportedly hiding in some nearby bushes and on seeing when Isaac left his home, discharged a number of rounds at him.
SKNVibes understands that Isaac ran with the assailant in hot pursuit but he eventually managed to escape unscathed.
No suspects are in custody in relation to the incident but police have indicated that they are investigating the matter. ~~Adz:Right~~
Rumours are rife that there was another shooting that allegedly took place in the McKnight area sometime this morning. SKNVibes asked Inspector Henry if there was any truth to the rumours and he indicated that the police did not received any report to suggest that there was any such shooting incident.
