CHARLESTOWN, St. Kitts – TWO men are in custody on Nevis assisting the Police with their investigations in a shooting incident that left a businessman critical in the Alexandra Hospital.
Reports reaching SKNVibes yesterday state that shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, two masked armed men entered a Bath Village restaurant called Black Hat Place, which is owned by Hesketh Wade, also known as Black Hat, and demanded money from him.
Wade refused to comply with the bandits’ demand and was shot multiple times before the men fled the scene without removing anything from the premises.
He was taken to the Alexandra Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery and is said to be in a critical condition.
Quick reaction by members of the Nevis Division of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police resulted in the apprehension of two men suspected to have been the perpetrators of the crime. ~~Adz:Right~~
