BRADES, Montserrat (June 04, 2012) – The new Eastern Caribbean representative for UNICEF will be paying a courtesy visit to Montserrat next week.
Miss Khin-Sandi Lwin will be accompanied by Dr Lisa McClean-Trotman, the Communication for Development Specialist for UNICEF.
While on island June 13 and 14, Miss Lwin is expected to present her credentials to various stakeholders and to have brief discussions about the policy, programmes and challenges involving children on the island.
She will pay courtesy visits to the Lookout and Brades Nursery schools, as well as the Montserrat Secondary School and Aunt Madge Childcare.
The UNICEF official is also expected to attend the Early Childhood Awards on Wednesday evening, June 13, 2012.
