BASSETERRE (9TH June, 2012): The 16th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival is just two weeks away, and already excitement for the Sweet 16 event is at explosive levels.
On Thursday the marketing team of the St. Kitts Music Festival held a promotional event at Shiggidy Shack on Frigate Bay with a very entertaining St. Kitts Music Festival Limbo Competition.
Today (Saturday 9th June, 2012) the St. Kitts Music Festival Promotion train rolls through the island for a massive motorcade starting from 1pm at Port Zante. Stops will be made at popular bars and hangout stops with radio call and special give-a-ways prizes. The action continues, later in the evening, at the Warner Park’s Football Match with a half time special.
Tomorrow, (Sunday) the marketing team of the St. Kitts Music Festival will be soaking up the sun at Carambola Friars Bay from 1:00 pm at the Super 7 Cricket After Party. Performances will be made by the Lights Out Band, Tombstone International and Carambola’s very own Amber. Other activities are dominoe competition, kayaking, Hobie Cat Racing, beach volley ball, tug-of-war and dancing around a bonfire later in the evening. Food and drinks will be at “very” low local prices.
Chairman of the Promotions Sub-Committee, Mr. Lester Ible, said that the weekend is going to be exciting. “We are taking the promotions to the people along with the Fantastic Four Girls and there will be lots of give-a-ways including chances to win tickets to attend this year’s world class Music Festival sweet sixteen edition.”
Six-time Grammy Award winner Toni Braxton will headline the upcoming St. Kitts Music Festival, which takes place on Thursday June 28th to Saturday June 30th, 2012. The lineup also includes Roberta Flack, Damian Marley, Courtney Pine, Omarion, Machel Montano, Morgan Heritage, Krosfyah, I-Octane and Popcaan.
