Basseterre, St. Kitts (March 08, 2005): The impact of the St. Kitts Music Festival and future implications will be reviewed at a weekend retreat for committee chairpersons, staff and stakeholders.
The two-day workshop takes place on March 11 and 12, at the Bird Rock Beach Hotel and is organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture in collaboration with the festival committee.

A ministry spokesperson told SKNIS that the session will be facilitated by Senator Sandra Husbands of Business Development Services Incorporated in Barbados. Issues relating to the organizing and planning of the upcoming festival and future events will dominate discussions.

In planning the way forward we will be looking at the strengths of the Music Festival and targeting areas for improvement to ensure maximum enjoyment for all involved, the spokesperson revealed.

The official also credited Senator Husbands work at the Service Excellence Workshop held in late January and noted that she was an outstanding choice for this course.
