Tenders Invited For The Purchase Of Used Government  Vehicles 

TORTOLA, B.V.I- Government is currently inviting public bids for the purchase of several used vehicles.

Interested persons can schedule an appointment to view the available vehicles by contacting the Acting Director of the Water and Sewerage Department, the Acting Superintendent of Prison, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour, or the Chief Surveyor between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Tenderers are required to submit their bids in sealed envelopes marked with the respective vehicle numbers (which are listed below) and addressed to The Chairman, Public Tenders Committee, Ministry of Finance, RFG Place, Third Floor, Waterfront Drive.

All tenders must be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Ministry of Finance, Procurement Unit, RFG Place. This should be done by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 19 August, 2008, as Government says tenders submitted after the box has been closed will be rejected.

Tenders will be publicly opened at the Ministry of Finance’s Procurement Unit at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, 19 August and all tenderers are invited to be witness the openings. The Government of the British Virgin Islands does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender.
