The George Moody Stuart School proudly presents a talent display

    Basseterre, St Kitts, June 24th, 2012 – An exciting display of talent is being planned to culminate the 50th Anniversary Activities of the George Moody Stuart School. According to Principal Elizabeth Condell, exhilarating performances will be showcased at an afternoon concert scheduled for Sunday, 01 July at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium in Bird Rock.  

     

     
    Former and current students and parents of students are currently anxiously engaged in preparations.  Dance, mime, poetry, drama and musical selections will bring the auditorium alive.  Artistes will include Christian Nathaniel, Quattro Voci, Kaylor Bass and many others.
     
    The 50th Anniversary Celebrations commenced last year with a Church Service at the Basseterre Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Since then, other activities have included a church service at the Wesley Methodist Church in Basseterre, a Talent Explosion at the school’s grounds and an Afternoon of Poetry.  
     
    The George Moody Stuart School is a privately owned primary school located at Kittstodart’s in St Kitts.  The school boasts of a roll of 124 students, complemented by 9 teachers and support staff.  The school began operations in 1961 at its Golden Rock location.  It has produced many scholars who continue to make positive contributions to the St Kitts-Nevis community and wider afield.
     
    For more information about the concert or to make a financial contribution to the Anniversary Celebrations, please contact Mrs. Elizabeth Condell, Principal at 465 8106 or 660 1845.  Proceeds from the concert will go towards purchasing library books, the maintenance of the school and the associated costs of implementing extra-curricular programmes.  Tickets are $20 and are available from parents or from the school’s office.
