BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE two brothers who were charged with the murder of the son of former Commissioner of Police, Austin Williams, are currently on trial.

Kelroy 'C-Face' Hazel and Jahari 'Baddie' Bart are jointly charged with the killing of Laustin Williams on the night of April 4, 2011 at Buckley's Estate.

The trial began this morning (July 5) with Hazel being represented by Senior Counsel John Cato and Bart being represented by Attorney-at-Law Chesley Hamilton while Director of Public Prosecutions Paulina Hendrickson leads the Prosecution team.

Ten witnesses are scheduled to testify on behalf of the Prosecution including Williams' sister and Pathologist Dr. Steven Jones.

According to Hendrickson, the evidence that will be brought out by the witnesses will reveal that on the night in question while Williams was at Buckley's Estate with three friends gambling, Bart and Hazel shot Williams from behind and killed him.

So far three witnesses have given evidence and the trial continues this afternoon with the testimony of witness four.
