~~Adz:Right~~ BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A young lady was left traumatised when, in the dead of the night, she was approached by a gunman who demanded she give him all that she had.

A Police press release informs that on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at about 10:45 p.m., the young lady was at West Bourne Ghaut when she was “held at gunpoint from behind by a male person who demanded that she hand over her belongings”.

The release further states that “the gunman, who also threatened the young lady’s life if she made any noise, then made his escape with her cell phone and keys. She was not injured.”

Investigations by SKNVibes revealed that the young lady was on her way to a friend’s home when she observed that a male dressed in dark blue shirt appeared to be following her.

She reportedly continued walking and before she knew it the gunman held the gun to her neck and demanded she give him all that she was carrying.

The young lady, according to reports received by this media house, told him that she had nothing and proceeded to remove her keys and cellular phone from her pockets and showed them to him.

The assailant put his hands into her pockets and, having not found anything, forced the woman to the ground and told her that if she moved she would be killed. He fled the scene.

SKNVibes was reliably informed that the assailant did not make off with the victim’s keys and cellular phone as reported by the Police.

The matter was later reported to the authorities and investigations are ongoing.
