Man stabbed at Nevis Village Dance

CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – A young man was stabbed early this morning in Nevis and is currently receiving treatment to his injury at the Alexandra Hospital.
Reports reaching SKNVibes state that 22-year-old Ibol Tyson was stabbed in the region of his chest at about 0400 hours this morning while at a dance in the Village next to the Culturama Cultural Complex.
When contacted by telephone, an officer at the Charlestown Police Station told this media house that they have no knowledge of the incident.
However, Tyson’s mother, Marcella Westerman of Low Street, Charlestown, confirmed the stabbing of her son and told SKNVibes that he is warded in the Alexandra Hospital.
She also informed that Tyson is the brother of her late son, Leon ‘Gravo’ Westerman, who was gunned down by two masked men within proximity of Angela’s Bar in Low Street, Charlestown on January 28, 2008. ~~Adz:Right~~
At press time, SKNVibes was still unable to get further details of the incident from the Police.
