BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – LEADER of the People’s Action Movement (PAM) – Lindsay F. Grant – has announced his resignation as leader of that political entity.
SKNVibes caught wind of rumours since late yesterday afternoon (July 16) which suggested that Grant would have given up his position at the helm.
And, this morning, at a “specially convened” press conference held at the Ocean Terrace Inn, Grant indicated that he has tendered his resignation as the political leader of the party to take effect on September 30, 2012.
He further indicated however, that he would remain in the realms of the party and would contest the next general elections as the PAM representative for Constituency Number Four.
