Press Release (SKNYPA)

BASSETERRE St. Kitts, July 20th, 2012  --  The St. Kitts National Youth Parliament Association, St. Kitts: In the spirit of independence and team work, The St. Kitts National Youth parliament Association will be hosting a Car Wash on Saturday 21st July, at the Parking Lot directly in front of Cemaco, Pond’s Pasture.

Vehicle owners from near and far are expected to be present at what promises to be one of the best ‘washes’ you’ve ever taken your vehicle to!

In an effort to assist one of the members of SKNYPA, Ms. Desi Brown to travel to the Human Rights Forum in Connecticut this August, the Fund-Raising Committee of the St. Kitts National Youth Parliament Association has planned the above mentioned fundraiser.

The Car Wash is scheduled to begin at 9 am and end at 12 pm. Washes are very affordable at $20 per wash and don’t let the name fool you! The ‘Car’ wash will not only cater to cars but other vehicles such as pick-ups, jeeps and buses.

Chair of the Organizing Committee for the Car Wash, Ms. Elsie Harry said, “We promise to give you quality service for your money. We pledge to take good care of everyone’s vehicle and guarantee that it will be so clean you can see your face in it. So tell your friends, tell your neighbors, tell your co-workers, tell everyone; spread the word that Saturday the 21st July there will be a car wash no vehicle owner wants to miss!”

The St. Kitts National Youth Parliament Association takes this time to invite the general Public to support this event as we continue to empower and encourage youth to rise above the ordinary, strive for excellence and use their voices to effect positive change in our federation. Support the cause! Support the Car wash!
