CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – TWO masked gunmen tonight (July 21) robbed two taxi drivers contracted by Four Seasons Resort to transport guests.
Reports reaching this publication state that taxi drivers Dale Pemberton and Vernal McDonald were robbed of over US$300 and US$400 respectively in the vicinity of Montpelier Plantation Inn.
The reports indicate that at approximately 7:00 p.m., the two taxi drivers had picked up 12 Four Seasons’ guests from that Resort to transport them to Montpelier Plantation Inn to have dinner.
At about 10:00 p.m., while waiting for the guests to return, two masked men held the drivers at gunpoint and relieved them of their money.
The unharmed drivers reported the robbery at the Gingerland Police Station and police are currently investigating.
