BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Mr. Kool Competition and the Miss Culture Swimwear held last evening (July 29) at the Culturama Complex in Nevis was dominated by Kittitians Kevin Adams and Roslyn Berkley.
Adams also announced as Mr. Photogenic, won the Best Beach Wear segment amassing a total of 441.5 points while Berkley, Miss Oualie Masonry Products who also was announced as Miss Photogenic won the Best Sponsor Appreciation Swimwear and amassed a total of 596.5 points.
First runner-up in the Mr. Kool competition was Lorenzo Phillip amassing a total of 422 points while capturing the Performing Talent segment while Daquani Newton won the Mr. Kool Wear and Mr. Popular Awards.
First runner-up position in the Miss Culture Swimwear went to Franale Holder, Miss Nevis Cultural Development Foundation who is also the winner of the Best Two-Piece Swimwear and Miss Popular award.
Tera Griffin, Miss Nevis Solid Waste Management Authority is the winner of the Best Once-Piece segment.
The Culture Swimwear Pageant was held under the theme ‘Under the Sea’.
Last year’s winners, Sidamo Jones and Nadaski Percival took their final walk on stage before a large crowd.
Meanwhile seven finalists were named to go up against King Hollywood in the Senior Kaiso King Competition; I-Soursop, Inspirer, Dis n Dat, Astro, Pupa Wheeler, Enforcer and Nutsy.
They will be looking to dethrone the king on August 3 while the Miss Culture Queen pageant is scheduled for August 5, and features five contestants.
