Orlando, Fla. – August 2012 – Marriott Vacation Club, a global leader in the vacation ownership industry, has appointed Thomas Jordan to general manager at Marriott’s St. Kitts Beach Club located on the island of St. Kitts in the British West Indies.
Jordan brings over 25 years of resort operations experience to his new position. Earlier in his career, Jordan worked at Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club in Hawaii and was also the manager for Club Med in Paris where he oversaw resorts in France, Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, and Morocco among other countries.
In his most recent role, Jordan served as general manager at Marriott’s Manor Club at Ford’s Colony in Williamsburg, Va. In 2011, Jordan and his team achieved Marriott Vacation Club’s World Class Resort status and had the highest Overall Guest Satisfaction rating ever achieved at the resort.
“As a strong leader in resort operations, Thomas brings both tremendous experience and an incredible skill set to the associates at our St. Kitts resort,” said Troy Asche, regional vice president of customer experience for the Florida-Caribbean region. “His drive for excellence combined with his vast experience and achievements will be instrumental in achieving high levels of success at Marriott’s St. Kitts Beach Club.”
Marriott’s St. Kitts Beach Club is located on-property with the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino. Home to pristine beaches and tropical forests, the destination boasts elegant Colonial architecture, small towns and unique shopping areas.
Marriott’s St. Kitts Beach Club includes 88 two- and three-bedroom villas with fully equipped kitchens; spacious living and dining areas; oversized shower in master bath; multiple flat-panel televisions and DVD players, washer/dryer and complimentary Wi-Fi internet access. Three-bedroom villas can accommodate up to 10 guests.
Jordan has relocated to St. Kitts with his wife Anne Marie and their three children.
