Digicel customers learn about Samsung product suite
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, August 2nd 2012 – Last Thursday 26th July, 2012, the Team at Digicel hosted a Samsung Seminar at its Flagship Store on Fort Street.
Amongst the invited guests were Digicel’s Corporate Clients and prospective customers, eager to learn about the latest Samsung Smartphones and other products. Headed by the knowledgeable Customer Care Team at the Bigger, Better Network, the presentations featured many of Samsung’s high-end Smartphones such as the Galaxy SII and SIII and also outlined the current Samsung products available for sale at Digicel.
During the after-work session, the attendees were able to learn how Samsung’s Smartphones and Tablets can add value to their professional lives. Digicel’s Customer Care Experience Manager, Kenneth Bobb and his Team gave information on corporate email set up, conference calling features, social networking amongst their business partners and also syncing their professional calendars with their Samsung phones. Persons attending Digicel’s ‘Samsung Day’ were able to get some hands-on experience on the Android handsets. Most were amazed by the features of the Smartphones and did not leave the Digicel store without purchasing one or taking advantage of the affordable payment plans.
Bobb, who was very pleased with the turnout and interaction of the crowd said, “Our Samsung Day has been very successful and we do intend to have a similar workshop at our sister store in Nevis. At Digicel, we ensure that our customers are not left behind with the latest technologies and we will continue to make the latest products available to them.” He encouraged customers to visit the Digicel stores at Fort Street in St. Kitts or #20 Solomon’s Arcade in Nevis to inquire about the new Samsung products and he is confident that they will be sold on purchasing.
Digicel’s ‘Samsung Day’ would not have been complete without giving customers the opportunity to win a Samsung Smartphone. At the end of the evening, one lucky customer won herself a fully touchscreen Samsung B5510 Smartphone.
Another customer who attended Digicel’s ‘Samsung Day’ won $100 free credit, a Usain Bolt autographed shirt and book documenting the athlete’s journey to success.
