Nevis Shelter officials equipped with First Aid skills

CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - THE Nevis Disaster Management Department premises, located at Long Point, was a hub of activities as Shelter Management officials acquired first aid skills.
The Department organised and hosted a two-day Certified First Aid Workshop facilitated by the Nevis Red Cross through presenters Conrad Liburd and Roxanne Daniel. The Workshop targeted Shelter Managers and Shelter Team Members from the five Districts in Nevis.
The Workshop was held at the Department’s facility at Long Point on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10, July 2008.
Further First Aid Workshops will be held from August to November for school officials, government ministries and departments, the private sector and other groups or individual members of the general public.
