    National Associations in Canada join forces to celebrate

    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 18TH 2008 (CUOPM) – National associations in Canada are joining forces to celebrate the twin-island Federation’s 25th Anniversary of Independence next month.

     

    The St. Kitts Canadian Association (Toronto), Nevcan Cultural Association and the St. Kitts and Nevis Cultural Association of Montreal will celebrate the Silver Jubilee with a Gala Four-Course Dinner and Dance on Saturday September 13th at the Crown Plaza Hotel.

     

    Guests of Honour will be St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas and Premier of Nevis, Hon. Joseph Parry.

     

    Organisers say that event from 6:30 P.M. to 2:00 A.M. include live music by the fabulous Bruce Skerritt and the Liamigua Project, performances by masquerades and clowns and a local calypsonian. Disc jockey, Shayne Griffin will provide music for dancing.  ~~Adz:Right~~
