BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – NAKITA BELIZAIRE, former Miss Personality and Marvelous, has placed first runner-up in the Miss Gros-Islet Pageant held in St. Lucia last evening.
Along with the first runner-up position, Belizaire also captured Best Swimwear and Best Creative Wear.
The winner of the pageant was Shetal Lionel while second runner-up was Francillia Austin.
The other segments the contestants competed in were Talent, Costume and Interview.
The 2008 Miss PAM, Model and Makeup artiste was originally born in St. Lucia but lived in St. Kitts with her mother, Paula Heyliger, for a number of years.
She graduated from the Christine Valmy International School in 2011 after pursuing a makeup course with honors in Micro-Dermabrasion.
Belizaire is also the daughter of Daniel Belizaire of St. Lucia and said that St. Kitts remains in her heart.
She extends gratitude to everyone who assisted her on her journey in this pageant including her family, friends, chaperone and pageant organizers and said she had a great time competing.
