Five bills for debate at Tuesday’s National Assembly Meeting

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 25TH 2008 (CUOPM) – Five bills will be debated when the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly meets on Tuesday.
Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will seek the approval of the lawmaking body for the Proceeds of Crime (Amendment) (No.3) Bill, 2008, which was given its first reading on July 31st and the Trafficking in Persons Prevention Bill, 2008. The latter will be given its first reading at Tuesday’s session.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth Affairs, Labour, Social Security, Information and Technology, Hon. Sam Condor will move the second reading of the Non-Governmental Organisation Bill, 2008, which was given its first reading on July 31st. ~~Adz:Right~~
Attorney General and Minister of Justice and Legal Affiars, Hon. Dennis Merchant will move the second reading of the Law Revision (Miscellaneous Amendments) (No. 3) Bill, 2008 and the Legal Profession Bill, 2007 Bill, which had its first reading on October 24th 2007.
