Basseterre, St. Kitts – With heavy emphasis being placed on the need to develop healthy lifestyle practices, the City Drug Store (2005) is playing its part in to ensure that its Customers/Clients keep that focus in mind.
The Company partnered with Mr. Rasheed Khan of the Canadian based Corporation, Excan Distributors Inc., and a team of trained Health Care Professionals from the Ministry of Health a host the Health and Wellness Clinic.
On Saturday 23rd August 2008, over two hundred and fifty (250) patrons were on hand to receive free comprehensive screening and non-diagnostic services for blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol levels.
According to Mr. Percival Hanley, General Manager of the City Drug Store, “the event was organized to remind patrons of the importance of adopting attitudes that will promote healthy living and longevity.”
Patrons praised the initiative and commended the Company for introducing the program to offer complimentary services to the public.

This is the second Health Care initiative organized by the Pharmaceutical Company. The first was a Hypertensive-Screening Clinic, which was held in May 2008.
