The Traffic Department – via this medium – is making a special appeal to persons who have been summoned to appear before the court to adhere strictly to the date provided on the document, as failure to do so could result in their arrest.

“We are appealing to persons who have been served with summons to comply with the date written on the document and ensure that they appear before the court on the stipulated date. Once persons fail to appear and it can be proven that the summons was properly served and in reasonable time, the court prosecutor would apply for a warrant and have that person arrested and brought before the court for questioning.”

Meanwhile, the Traffic Department has informed that operator of motor omnibus H3874 Gavin ‘Stenneth’ Stevens of Lower Cayon was yesterday arrested and charged with obstruction of a police officer while in the execution of his duties.
