Silver Jubilee Contestants Partner With Rotary Club

Basseterre, St. Kitts- On Saturday August 30, The Rotary Club of St. Kitts in collaboration with the Organizing Committee for the Silver Jubilee Queen Pageant held a Grand Motorcade around the island of St. Kitts.  

Featuring prominently were the six contestants for the Miss Silver Jubilee Queen Pageant scheduled for September 18th at Carnival Village . 

Also on display was the 2008 fully loaded Toyota Corolla that is being raffled by the Rotary Club, funds from which will go towards their charitable projects and more specifically those that will greatly benefit the children of the Federation. 

The drawing takes place on September 18th when a lucky individual will receive a brand new car for the Silver Jubilee Anniversary celebrations of our nation’s Independence. 

A spokesperson for the Silver Jubilee Queen Pageant expressed delight at having partnered with the Rotary Club of St. Kitts in such a worthwhile venture.  

The next activity for the Silver Jubilee Queen contestants will be The Sashing Ceremony on Friday September 5th at 6 p.m. at Independence Square during the highly anticipated Silver Jubilee Food Fair.
