Premier Revokes Appointments of Terrance Ford

~~Adz:Right~~Roadtown, Tortola- Premier and Minister of Tourism Honourable Ralph T. O’Neal, OBE on Friday, August 29th revoked the appointments of Mr. Terrance M. Ford as acting Chairman and member of the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board.

Citing professional differences as the reason for the revocation, the Premier expressed appreciation to Mr. Ford for his interest and work in helping to develop the industry during his most recent appointment and over the years as a member of the Board.

The Premier will soon announce a successor, which is subject to Cabinet’s approval.

Mr. Ford was appointed as a Board member for a four-year term on February 1st in accordance with the Tourist Board (Amendment) Act 1996. Cabinet subsequently agreed, on February 6th, to appoint Mr. Ford as acting Chairman of the Board.
