BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – WELL-KNOWN party-girl Altonia Springer is gearing up to host her birthday party under the theme ‘23 Black-Diamonds-Silver Caviar Dreams’ at Cloud 9, next Saturday, September 29.
This will be her fourth edition, and anyone who has ever been to her past three parties knows they are in for a grand time.
Her last event held in 2010, was described as one of the largest attended parties for that year, as she had a combination of modeling, performances, bands and DJS.
Next weekend’s event is predicted to be just as great as she will be having various forms of entertainment for each section of Cloud 9.
In the VIP Lounge there will be performances by DJ Wett Dutt and the Royalties Band featuring Mic Stokes, Nicha B and Infamus. The host for that section will be ‘Purple’ while the Party Hutt will feature Mad Squad Sounds, Mixclusiv, Freedom Sounds and Unstoppable Chalice and will be hosted by Mz Alivious.
Finally, the Roof Top will feature Nu Vybes Band International, DJ Yardy featuring Triple S and Recklife Sounds out of Nevis. That section will be hosted by Pinnochio and Triple S.
In terms of the dress code, persons are encouraged to wear outfits that are elegantly casual in shimmering black, cream or silver.
Springer said that organizing parties is something she loves to do and started Diamonds and Pearl Inc. in 2007 as a club for young persons to socialize and become young event planners.
“Diamonds & Pearls INC/Social Club is my dream and at 23 dreams do come true,” she said.
“I refer to myself as the ‘Energy Diva/Party Goddess because I love parties, organising them and conducting them. I love the excitement of people enjoying themselves when they are partying,” she said.
She said that her parties are just stepping stones and experiences for hosting bigger events.
Springer said that although the venue is smaller than her previous parties, by having the various sections of the event, she predicts people will still have a great time.
She said some proceeds will go towards a Project helping students who are in need of assistance for school.
The action begins at 8:00 p.m. and there will be lots of prizes and giveaways along with appearances by the Divine Modeling Agency and Team Diamond Girls.
