BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - LOOKING for something extra special to do with the family and friends? Join the St. Christopher Children's Home and Service League as they will be hosting their third Annual Family Fun Run and Walk on Saturday October 6.
This Family Fun Run and Walk will be held on the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club with a 2K walk and 5K run as a means of raising funds for the upkeep of the Home.
Registration opens at 3:00 p.m. and this includes event participation, commemorative shirt and bag, and a Barbecue lunch which will be provided by the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.
The warm up session will begin at 3:45 p.m. while the 5K run will start promptly at 4:00 p.m.
The 2K walk and children run will begin at 4:05 p.m. after which they will enjoy bouncing castles, face painting, family fun fair and barbecue.
Registration fee for adults is EC$50 or US$20 while children ages six to 12 pay just EC$25 or US$10 and children under the age of six are free.
Complimentary transportation will be available from KFC on the Bay Road as well as the Basseterre Fire Station bus stop starting at 2:00 p.m. and run for every half hour until 6:30 p.m.
All proceeds will be going towards the ongoing programmes and general maintenance of the Home.
