PM Douglas among 120 world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, September 24th,  2012 (CUOPM) – St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas is among 120 world leaders and their entourages gathering at the United Nations this week.

     

    The St. Kitts and Nevis leader left here on Sunday accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Sam Condor and Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, Her Excellency Mrs. Astona Browne.

     

    Other members of the delegation are Permanent Representative at the St. Kitts and Nevis Mission to the United Nations, His Excellency Delano Bart, Q.C.; Minister Counselor at the St. Kitts and Nevis Mission to the United Nations, Ms. K. Alex Woodley; Senior Foreign Service Officer, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Samuel Berridge and Foreign Service Officer, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Carlisle  Richardson.

     

    Prime Minister Douglas is expected to address the 67th Session of the United Nations General Assembly on Friday.

     

    Dr. Douglas and other officials are also expected to attend several bilateral and meetings on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
